About Jack Cabasso
Security sales professional Jack Cabasso joined Aventura Technologies, Inc.,
more than a decade ago. As Managing Director of Sales, Mr. Cabasso leads the
company’s overall sales direction and strategy. Based in Hauppauge, New York,
Aventura Technologies develops and manufactures hardware, software, and other
security products for civilian and government use. Jack Cabasso maintains
responsibility for the company’s government clients, and also identifies
government programs, procurements, and funding initiatives.
Jack Cabasso’s work with Aventura Technologies has helped define industry standards.
He promoted the use of the H.264 video compression algorithm in security
products, and led the company’s transition from legacy analog to IP, resulting
in Aventura’s development of the industry’s first hybrid digital recording
system. Under his direction, Aventura also implemented a new approach to sales
and service. Advocating customer involvement, Mr. Cabasso suggested
client-driven security solutions–security designs and products developed to meet
the needs of individual clients. Aventura created solutions in which engineers
collaborated with the sales team and with clients to provide total solution
awareness. Throughout his career, Jack Cabasso has been instrumental in the
design, development, and marketing of the largest digital video recording and
